Join us for the 4th Annual COPA Gulf Coast Tournament! This event is a fantastic celebration of soccer's global influence, bringing people together for an unforgettable, action-packed weekend.

Open to boys’ and girls’ Competitive, Academy, and Recreational teams ages U7-U19, this tournament offers a thrilling end-of-season opportunity. With each team guaranteed 3 games in a round-robin format across 4, 6, or 8 team flights, everyone gets plenty of playtime. Plus, exciting finals will be held for all age groups!

ENTRY FEES:

U7-U8 Recreational (5v5): $275  

U7-U8 Academy (5v5): $275 

U9-U10 (7v7): $375

U11-U12 (9v9): $475 

U13-U19 (11v11): $575 

>3-game guarantee, finals for all ages

>awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in all brackets

>Head Coach will receive a free tournament t-shirt by registering and paying the fee by May 4th.

>All players will receive a COPA GC Event PIN, CROC patches in their team welcome pack!

PARTICIPATION:

U7-U8: 5v5 w/GK, 2x20 minute halves

U9-U10: 7v7, 2x25 minute halves

U11-U12: 9v9, 2x30 minute halves

U13-U19: 11v11, 2x35 minute halves

 

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Sunday, May 4th

 

BRACKETING & AWARDS:

Competitive (U11+): (Gold or Silver bracket recommended)

Academy (U7-U10): (Gold or Silver bracket recommended)

Recreational (U7-U19): (Bronze or Silver bracket recommended)

1st & 2nd Place Individual Awards for all finalists

 

SCHEDULES: Released May 15th

Teams will be bracketed with the like-talented competition as best we can.

TOURNAMENT RULES

 

EVENT CLASSIFICATIONS: This tournament is unrestricted. Teams registered and in good standing with any U.S. Soccer Federation are eligible to apply, including US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, South Texas Youth Soccer, Louisiana Youth Soccer, and Spindletop Youth Soccer. 

 

APPLICATION TO HOST

 

       

 

This tournament is unrestricted & open to any US Club, US Youth, South Texas Youth Soccer, Spindletop, or La. YSA teams. Per U.S. Soccer Federation policy, teams registered in good standing with any U.S. Soccer Federation affiliate are eligible to apply.

Hotel Information

The COPA Gulf Coast is a STAY-TO-PLAY event and all teams traveling to Port Arthur from more than 75 miles away are asked to stay in an Official Tournament Hotel and must make reservations through GYC Planners, LLC. Booking information is available at COPA Gulf Coast 2024 - GYC Planners, LLC

TOURNAMENT APPAREL

 

 

 

Tournament apparel is supplied by Fine Designs. Fine Designs will be set up at GC Soccer Complex near the concessions area. A variety of apparel styles and colors available on site.  

Since 1994, Fine Designs has provided athletes and their families with official on-site customized event merchandise to help make athletic achievements memorable.
