Gulf Coast Soccer Club offers a dynamic and inclusive RECREATIONAL soccer program that caters to players of all ages, skill and commitment levels.

With a focus on enjoyment and development, the program provides multiple age-based opportunities for play:

• U5 (2021) | 5v5 - See U5 Pre-Academy (ALL U5 players start in the Pre-Academy). 
• U6 (2020) | 5v5
• U7-U8 (2019-2018) | 5v5
• U9-U10 (2017-2016) | 7v7
• U11-U12 (2015-2014) | 9v9
• U13-U19 (2013-2007) | 11v11

The above formats align perfectly with our Center of Excellence Academy Program (U5-U10) as well as our Competitive Program (U11-U19), should players ever feel the need to challenge themselves more and move from Recreational soccer, into these programs.

Each age group follows the club’s progressive curriculum, which emphasizes ball mastery, teamwork, and tactical understanding through small-sided games and engaging training sessions. 

The recreational program is ideal for both beginners and those looking to enjoy the game socially while still developing their soccer skills.

Coaching in the recreational program is provided by volunteer coaches who receive structured support and session plans through the Gulf Coast curriculum. 

Coaches benefit from both online and in-person training, along with mentoring by the club’s technical staff. 

The program features twice-weekly training sessions and one game every Saturday, offering a consistent and structured environment where players can hone their abilities and stay active. 

This approach aligns with the club’s Long-Term Player Development model, ensuring that every participant receives the right support to grow at their own pace.

For those content with recreational play, the program fosters a lifelong love for the game, encouraging participants to stay active as players, coaches, or referees throughout their lives.

REGISTRATION:

• ONLINE REGISTRATION: Open through July 8, 2025
• IN PERSON REGISTRATION: June 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 10 AM - 2 PM (GC Soccer Complex, Academy Sports and Outdoors)
• EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: $15 if you register before June 15th
